Our economical, lightweight silicone moulds are designed to enhance your soap-making process with ease and efficiency. Each mould creates four deep square soap bars per pour, with an approximate individual soap weight of 100g. The soap cavity dimensions are 6cm by 6cm by 2.5cm deep, making them perfect for producing uniform, high-quality bars. If preferred, you can half-fill the mould cavities to craft smaller bars of regular thickness.
Expertly made from flexible food-grade silicone (FDA standard), these moulds are both durable and easy to clean with warm, soapy water. To preserve their shape and longevity, we recommend hand washing only and avoiding dishwasher use. These versatile moulds are suitable for melt and pour soap, cold processed soap, and massage & bath melts. However, due to their flexible sides, they are not ideal for bath bombs and fizzies.
For optimal results when using cold process soap, we suggest either a 15% water discount or adding 1 tsp of sodium lactate per 500g of soap to your recipe for easier unmoulding. As with all silicone moulds, placing them on a rigid baking sheet while soaping is advisable, in case you need to move them before they set.
Please note that once used for soap, the mould is no longer suitable for food use. These moulds are heat rated to withstand temperatures from -10 to 230 degrees Celsius.
Hand wash only to ensure the mould retains its shape and durability.
