Microcare® SB is a blend of organic acids designed to gently preserve all personal care products. This eco-conscious preservative is most effective at pH 4.5 to 5.0, where the active ingredients—undissociated organic acids—work together to suppress the growth and spore germination of bacteria and moulds.
This blend includes sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate, which are among the few preservatives approved by ECOCERT, BDIH, the Soil Association, Natrue, and COSMOS. This approval underscores their suitability for natural and organic formulations.
