Our economical, lightweight silicone moulds are designed to make your soap-making process both efficient and enjoyable. Each mould produces four deep round soap bars per pour, with a total dimension of 16.7cm by 16.7cm by 3.3cm. The individual soap cavities measure approximately 6.9cm in diameter and 2.5cm deep, holding around 100g of soap when filled to the brim. If you prefer smaller bars, the mould cavities can be half-filled to achieve a regular thickness.
Crafted from flexible, food-grade silicone (FDA standard), these moulds are both durable and easy to clean with warm, soapy water. Please note that dishwasher use is not recommended to ensure the mould retains its shape and longevity. These moulds are suitable for a variety of applications, including melt and pour soap, cold processed soap, massage and bath melts. However, they are not rigid enough for bath bombs and fizzies.
For best results when using cold process soap, we recommend either a 15% water discount or adding 1 tsp of sodium lactate per 500g of soap to your recipe for easier unmoulding. As with all silicone moulds, it’s advisable to place them on a rigid baking sheet while soaping, in case you need to move them before they are set.
Once used for soap, the mould is no longer suitable for food use. They are heat rated to withstand temperatures from -10 to 230 degrees Celsius.
Hand wash only to retain the mould’s shape and durability.
