Our economical, lightweight silicone moulds are designed to elevate your soap-making experience with ease and precision. Each mould produces four deep oval soap bars per pour, with an approximate individual soap weight of 110g. The soap cavity dimensions are 8.4cm by 5.8cm by 2.5cm deep, providing ample space for creating beautifully shaped bars. For those who prefer smaller bars, the mould cavities can be half-filled to achieve a regular thickness.
Expertly crafted from flexible food-grade silicone (FDA standard), these moulds are durable and easy to clean using warm, soapy water. To ensure their shape and longevity, please avoid using a dishwasher. These versatile moulds are suitable for melt and pour soap, cold processed soap, and massage & bath melts. However, due to their flexible sides, they are not ideal for bath bombs and fizzies.
For the best results when using cold process soap, we recommend either a 15% water discount or adding 1 tsp of sodium lactate per 500g of soap to your recipe for easier unmoulding. As with all silicone moulds, it is advisable to place them on a rigid baking sheet while soaping, in case you need to move them before they set.
Once used for soap, the mould is no longer suitable for food use. The dimensions provided are approximate, and to maintain the mould’s integrity, hand wash only.
